About Our Farm

We are a family farm nestled in the mountains of Northern Idaho, committed to organic and non-GMO farming practices. Following natural holistic approaches and permaculture principles, we raise our four children (ages 12, 8, 5, and 2) alongside our animals in a sustainable, educational environment.

Our farm is home to registered Mini Jersey cattle, Alpine goats, Turkish Kangal guardian dogs, and working Border Collies. We believe in working with nature, not against it, while caring for our land and animals.

Most of our children are homeschooled right here on the farm, learning valuable life skills through hands-on experience with animals, gardening, and sustainable living.

Our Animals

Registered Mini Jerseys

Our A2A2 Mini Jerseys are gentle, smaller cattle ideal for family farms. These beautiful animals are a beloved part of our farm family.

Alpine Goats

Our Alpine goats are wonderful companions and help with brush control. They are playful, curious, and provide endless entertainment for the whole family.

Available Now: 3 kids born March 12, 2026 — 2 girls and 1 boy. Will be ready for their new homes soon! Contact us to reserve yours.

Turkish Kangals

Our Kangal guardian dogs protect our livestock with their natural instincts. These gentle giants are devoted to their charges and make excellent farm guardians.

Border Collies

We breed both working and companion Border Collies. These intelligent, energetic dogs excel at herding and make devoted family members.

WWOOF Opportunities

Learn Sustainable Farming With Us

We welcome WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) volunteers to experience life on our family farm. This is a unique opportunity to learn hands-on skills in a beautiful mountain setting.

What You'll Learn:

Daily care of dairy animals including milking, feeding, and health management
Milk handling, storage, and safety procedures
Artisan dairy processing: cheese-making, yogurt, sour cream, and more
Sustainable land management and permaculture practices
Forest and pasture maintenance
Organic gardening and seasonal food production
Animal husbandry for multiple species

What We Provide:

Comfortable housing and farm-fresh meals including seasonal produce, eggs, dairy products, and meat when available. You'll become part of our farm family, sharing meals and learning alongside our children.
